The general problem newcomers are facing is how to build connections with the new environment and people when they move to a new region Eindhoven, being a developing international city with major companies like ASML and Philips, attracts many expats, their spouses, international students, creative workers, and individuals seeking work opportunities.
 

To address this challenge, a design solution called City Bingo has been proposed. This game aims to help city newcomers connect with their surroundings and people, while also embracing their new identities without losing their original ones. City Bingo utilizes themed bingo cards, both in the physical and online format, to encourage exploration of the city, socialization, and engagement with the local culture. By creating an integrated and playful ecosystem, this project aims to guide newcomers in an enjoyable way, fostering energy, identity, and utility in their experience of the city.
